Due to over committing myself I sadly had to hand over my wharf to wharf bib to someone else for tomorrow's run. However, this morning I decided to head out and do a 6.2 mile beach run in light of not being able to run tomorrow. A little sad because wharf to wharf is the best- I set out...and wow. Just wow! Today's run was the coolest of my life, despite how difficult running on sand is. It was slow and had the most phenomenal sights (for free!$).
First, a hurt otter, don't worry a state volunteer was on the scene.
Got pooped on by these birds!
Humpback whales! So
Close to shore and swimming alongside of me!
Running on sand is slow and steady and being distracted by sea life greatly slowed me down- but it was so amazing. I may have cried cuz it was so cool. Also saw seals and dolphins out there too today. Miraculous ,and still have to pinch myself that I live right here. Feeling thankful and refreshed. So even though I can't do wharf to wharf the whale to whale run this morning was incredible.
