Wowzers Vegas! This is a fun town and a Bit too wild. So much fun to people watch.
Yesterday Matt had to work so he was up at 5am and delivering me coffee at 6am so I woke up early too. After he left, all fancy in a suit, I hit the strip. It is so nice early in the Morning. Hot! But not crowded, people out exercising and just walking around. I walked a bit and then headed to the spa at the Paris hotel. Matt got me a gift there for Mother's Day. I enjoyed access to the gym and then a wonderful and relaxing facial! Thanks Matt! If I was rich I would so do that A LOT!!!
After that, I met up with our friends, who are here for their 17th anniversary. We hit the pool and were greatly entertained by a group of boys (young men) in town for a bachelor party.
We then found Matt and all cleaned up and hit the strip. Enjoyed some drinks and GREAT food! The best part was the initiation of a contest, by Matt, of how many pictures we could photobomb. I am pretty sure Cindy won! She caught many people off guard, some laughed and some gave dirty looks- very entertaining!!!
We ate dinner at 10pm. These are the days I know I am so old. It felt SO late. After dinner I had to head back to the hotel to sleep. I have some serious blisters from my shoes :/ next Vegas trip I will be better prepared.
However, I did last until after midnight!
This morning we slept in until 9:30, cannot remember the last time I have done that! So wonderful and relaxing. Then we looked for breakfast and found an amazing meal at a pub- Random. Just finished hitting the gym, definitely will not cancel out all I ate yesterday, but feeling more awake. Gonna enjoy a book and magazine while Matt works this afternoon, then we are heading out for a date.
Having a lot of fun with Matt, and miss my littlest man Sawyer already. Thankful he is well taken care of and looking forward to
Seeing him tomorrow. After a couple rough days (weeks) with him, it's been so refreshing to have a break, but he definitely adds joy daily to our lives and I miss his little face and jokes.
Yup he's wearing a purple bracelet. That's my boy!
