Had a fun Christmas with this crazy 3 year old. He was pretty funny when we woke him up on Christmas morning.
Me: "Sawyer it is Christmas!"
Sawyer: "I cannot even believe it. Are you sure? Did the reindeer eat my cookie? This is the best!"
It was pretty fun beginning traditions and having our own little Christmas at home in the morning.
One of my favorite things this year was how much thought Matt put into making it special. He had Sawyer do an art gift for me- new coffee mugs Sawyer decorated. Matt also made a jar with 52 at home dates since we are home in the evenings a couple nights a week. Instead of doing the same old things, like watch tv or play on our phones or read, we have some creative ideas to choose from. Matt also planned a family camping trip to Morro Bay this summer and booked a camp site as a gift from Santa (Santa gives a family game or family activity) in our home. Very fun and exciting things to look forward too this next year!
The season always flies by. Lots of laughs and memories and continuing to learn about Sawyer. He is quite the extrovert and requires a lot of down time. He does well for about 1-2 hours in large groups and then needs a quiet place or will act out until he gets put into a quiet one (time out) :) He is certainly fun and a handful. Sugar and spice!
