Something I have been wanting to be a part of the last two months is a spin class. After finally looking into times, places and $, we took advantage of a Labor Day weekend sale at In shape Capitola.
Yesterday I took Sawyer to check out if he could handle the children's play area for a 1/2 hour without me. (Actually if I could handle him there for a 1/2 hour) I climbed stairs for 30 mins then went to pick him up and he told me "go workout more, come later, I'm having fun". Made my heart happy so I sat outside by the pool and fireplace for a bit longer in silence :). A winner!
Not only did he have fun, but he used the potty all by himself there too. Such a big kid! (His pull up did end up inside out, but he did it!)
Today I felt brave enough to hit the spin class. There was one yesterday but I wasn't well fueled and a little nervous. The class did not disappoint. Super fun, super hard and great music!
It was a great experience and I will definitely be trying to do that two days a week!
After spin and finding Matt at the pool we hit the child center to find little man. He made some art for us.
Childcare gets a "F" today. His name is sAwyer not sEwyer! Sewer? Really workers!? Just kidding, it was funny, and has made it to the fridge just the same.
Spin was a great start to the evening after a day of babysitting and spending lots of time by the bathroom with three kids potty training ;)!
I know I've been blogging lots of fitness stuff lately. However, with the changes I'm trying to make for health, I have also been trying to read more intentionally and pray more (meditate). Here is a verse I've been clinging too lately with this changes.
